中国年画 Chinese New Year Picture

Event: Chinese New Year Picture Exhibition in
CAAL Chinese New Year Celebration Gala
Sunday: January 12th,  2020 7PM-9 PM
Where: Cary Hall, 1605 Mass Ave. Lexington

Rubric： 
1. Must have at least one person in your drawing.
2. Must have an animation face with an appropriate expression related to the theme of celebrating Chinese New Year.
3. Must draw a body for the figure combined with a movement, for example: holding a Chinese Spring couplet, a traditional Chinese mini drum or dancing with a ribbon or holding a fish or a Chinese lantern...and so on.
 4. Must have Chinese blessing words( 4-7 words) on the picture.
5. The acting figure must wear a Chinese traditional costume.
6. Must use bright contrasting colors on your picture. RED is a major color. 
7. This image must be ¾ of the 11X11 drawing paper.

• Besides the Rat, any other animals you will draw in your design? (Fish鱼/舞㔫 dragon dance /舞獅 tiger dance)
• Any other fruits that you will draw in your design? Or Plants? (Lotus, bamboos, cheerios, oranges, peaches)
• Any other items? you will draw in your design? ( Red Lantern 红灯笼, spring couplet, a red envelope, traditional Chinese Money( 元宝), firecrackers 鞭炮, 
• Any Chinese new year traditional food? ( Dumplins, 水饺, 春卷，汤圆
