Happy Thanksgiving

Art supplies pick-up day 

 Friday, December 4th, 12:30-3 p.m.




If you cannot come in that afternoon, the supplies will be at school and you can come anytime the building is open and ring the doorbell and the office will bring the items out to you.

A. Name on large paper- the scale is one of the concepts

B. Background-Design an interesting composition use

Overlapping concept- foreground middle ground and background
C. Coloring pencil Technique
Colored Pencils Techniques- You must use 4 techniques from the following 6.
1.Value- apple pressure to create different tones 
2. Strokes-  shading, stippling, cross-hatching, hatching  
3. Layering- similar or opposite colors layer on top of each other 
4. Blending- creating an area between two colors where they gradually mix, so you get a gentle transition from one color to the other.
5. Burnishing- push the color pencils on paper to produce solid color painting quality effects.
6. Highlights and shadows- enhance 3D effects
