Course Description
Digital photos have become a primary vehicle for visual communication in our culture. While having a working knowledge of digital photography is undoubtedly important, the post-production process is often as critical in conveying effective messaging. In this course, students will gain a basic understanding as to how they can use Photoshop Elements to help improve their digital visual communication skills. The course will begin with the basic introduction of Photoshop Elements settings and the Photoshop Elements tool panel. Next, Student will learn how to multiple images can be combined into a unified composition. Later, students will be taught how to use photoshop to create a GIF animation. As the course processes, students will be will be asked to complete a number of finished digital art projects.

Students will:
- Use photoshop as a tool to improve and manipulate digital photo
- Combine multiple images into a single, unified composition
- Utilize Photoshop's text options to integrate effective verbal messaging into their projects
- Save, send and post images created in photoshop to email and the internet
