Coil Pottery
Studio: All sculptures should be finished and dried over the weekend. All artwork be ready for the kiln firing next week.
1. use 1/2 pottery for coil design. You need to use ay least 3 types of coils
2. Build your addition/objects( based on your theme) between the coils. Do not attach them onto the wall of coils unless the size of the object is really small.
3. The top of the vessel should not be on the same horizon level to make the sculpture interesting.
5. Must have a form
5 Write class code and name( first name and last name initial) underneath the pottery. On the back of the bottom layer, it is on the side that touching the table
6. The thickness of the coil must not thinner than your pinkie.
7. Inner coil wall: Move the clay together and smooth the inner wall
8. Smooth the surface with a sponge
